Measuring Guide

Find the Loom & Co rug size that's right for you based off these helpful tips that broken down by room.

Dining Room

Plot twist...we always recommend square rugs for round tables! But whatever shape you prefer, be sure the rug is big enough for all chair legs to fit on top if it when they're pulled out (with another few inches from the back legs to spare).

Living Room

Option A (left): Go big by ensuring all furniture legs are resting comfortably on the rug, then add 6-12 inches from there. Option B (right): Or, size down so that just the front legs of your furniture are sitting on top of your rug, like so.

Bedroom

Your bed size usually dictates your rug size... Twin beds need a 5x7 or a 6x9 rug. Double and queen beds need a 6x9 or an 8x10 rug. King beds need a 9x12 rug (or larger, if space allows). We also love it when side tables rest completely on top of your rug, but it's whatever you prefer!

Bathroom

While bathrooms can get a little humid, our rugs hold up wonderfully! Try them in front of your bathroom vanity, like so... (Just be sure not to use them as a bath mat!)

Kitchen

Option A (left): We love a smaller rug in front of the sink, like a 2x3, 4x6 or 3x7. (Those are the smallest we make, BTW!) Option B (right): We *also* love coordinating runners on either side of your kitchen island.

Hallway

Measure the length of your hallway and subtract one foot on both ends to find the right length of your rug. For the width, make sure there is at least ó inches of space between your walls and the sides of your runner. Pro tip: Be sure to take any floor vents you might have into account!
